Sunny Singh
CEO & Co-FounderSunny Singh has structured, advised, or managed over fifteen billion in assets across a variety of asset classes, including filmed entertainment, music royalties, patents, litigation finance, distressed and performing residential mortgages, and other ABS assets such as small business loans, home improvement loans, tax liens and student loans. He specializes in complex and emerging assets and special situations and has helped found multiple asset-based specialty finance companies in the past.
Prior to founding Owlpoint, Sunny was a Portfolio Manager at Brevet Capital overseeing over $350 million in IP related investments at the firm. He began his career in 2003 at Dassault Systems working on engineering design and simulation for Boeing Dreamliner and Honda Formula 1. In 2008 he joined Silar Capital’s deal structuring team where he worked on notable transactions including the $13 billion acquisition of IndyMac from FDIC in the then largest public-private investment partnership (PPIP) in the United States. He also worked with and financed the founders of OnDeck Capital and Service Finance Corporation, both of which went on to become pioneers in the Fintech space.
In 2012, Sunny co-founded TSG Entertainment, which is now one of the largest independent film financing entities in the world with over $2 billion in content, with such notable franchises as Avatar, X-Men and Planet of the Apes. Before Brevet, Sunny was at HomeBridge Financial Services, Inc., where he helped build and manage HomeBridge’s $20 billion Mortgage Servicing Rights portfolio and worked on the eventual sale of the MSRs in a transaction valued at well over $200 million.
Sunny earned his MBA from Foster School of Business at UW in Seattle as an Evert McCabe and Orin Smith endowed Fellow and received his undergraduate and master’s degree in industrial chemistry from IIT KGP, India. He is a CFA Charter holder and holds Data Science Specialization from Johns Hopkins University.
Sunny resides in Manhattan with his family and remains active in the local community, participating in food pantries for the underprivileged and teaching kids’ math on the weekends. He enjoys backcountry hiking and backpacking.

Francis B. Majorie
Strategic Counsel
Francis B. Majorie, has over thirty-five years of experience serving as strategic counsel or trial counsel to principal investors, trustees, C level managers, and others. Francis B. has handled well over two and one-half billion dollars of complex, high profile and existential business disputes across the country. He has also provided advice with respect to significant business transactions, represents clients as settlement counsel, manages out-sourced litigation as an adjunct to a client's in-house lawyers, and serves as mediator.
In addition to acting as a general counsel, he continues to serve a distinguished clientele of CEOs, directors, senior executives, investors, and trustees across various industries, from Fortune 50® and 500® companies to public entities and high net-worth individuals.
With a robust legal background, Francis B. has appeared before federal and state trial and appellate courts, bankruptcy courts, regulatory agencies, and media outlets nationwide. His extensive experience encompasses a diverse array of cases, from high-profile matters such as airline deregulation and terrorism insurance to commercial real estate ventures and securities fraud litigation. Francis B. adeptly represents both plaintiffs and defendants, demonstrating prowess in breach of contract disputes and corporate control contests.
Prior to establishing himself at The Majorie Firm, Francis B. honed his expertise as an Income Partner at Bickel & Brewer and through roles at prestigious law firms including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates. He began his legal career as an Associate at Hebb & Gitlin and Bromberg Sunstein & McGregor after earning his Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Boston University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and served as Projects Editor for the Boston University Law School Law Review. Francis B. also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Connecticut, graduating Magna Cum Laude as an Honors Scholar.
Francis’s based out of Irving, Texas, where he lives with his wife, kids, grand kids and two dogs. He’s active in the local community and regularly volunteers at his church.

Vivek Nayar
Arena Investors, LP (arenaco.com)
Vivek Nayar brings over two decades of experience in asset-based structured finance and is currently a Managing Director at Arena Investors, LP. He is a Senior Advisor and a member of the Investment Committee at Owlpoint. He also serves on the boards of WiLAN, Leyster Capital and American Capital Finance, among other senior advisory roles.
Prior to his current roles, Vivek co-founded Finch Energy Capital LLC in 2014, pioneering innovative financing solutions for energy efficiency retrofits in commercial buildings. Vivek began his career in finance at Merrill Lynch where with roles in ABS trading, Asset Based Securities origination and principal finance . Vivek also worked as a Director at LibreMax Capital, where he originated and managed investments.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from CIT in India. Vivek's leadership, coupled with his deep industry knowledge and strategic acumen, is key to Owlpoint’s investment process.

Randy Herman
Senior Advisor – Media and Entertainment
Randy Herman has 25+ years of deep finance and operational expertise in the filmed and media entertainment space. From 2012 to 2018, Randy was the Chief Financial Officer of Red Granite Pictures. In this position, he was responsible for the management of the day-to-day financial operations of the Company as well as leading business development and strategic planning initiatives. Randy was responsible for the analyzing the investment in and securing the financing for Dumb and Dumber To and Daddy’s Home. In addition, Randy negotiated, structured and closed over $200 million in production and ultimates loans for the company.
From 2011 to 2012, Randy was the Chief Financial Officer of Exclusive Media where he structured a corporate credit facility as well as single picture financings for End of Watch starring Jake Gyllenhaal; Snitch starring Dwayne Johnson; and Ron Howard's Rush. In addition, Randy oversaw preparation of all Exclusive business plans, annual operating budgets, financial greenlight analyses and film ultimates. Randy also managed the transition of the finance and accounting functions from London to Los Angeles.
From 2006 to 2011, Randy was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Essential Entertainment. While at Essential, he structured and closed financings for the successful Australian film, Red Dog and the Canadian/Belgian co-production, The Expatriate starring Aaron Eckhart.
From 1996 to 2006, Randy was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mandalay Pictures. During the ten years Randy worked with Mandalay, he arranged over $600 million in production financing, structured a $40 million insurance-backed transaction, helped secure a $50 million equity investment and arranged more than $90 million in tax-advantaged financing.
Before beginning his career in the film business, Randy had a successful career in financial services as a financial analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert, an associate with Chemical Bank in New York and later as an associate director with BA Securities in Los Angeles. Randy has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley. From 2014 to 2018, Randy served on the Board of Trustees at The Oaks School, where he was on the Executive and Finance Committees. He was also a member of the Finance and Audit Committees of Children's Hospital Los Angeles from 2003 to 2010.

Conor Murray
Analyst
Conor Murray joined Owlpoint in 2023 and focuses on all aspects of origination, due diligence, and transaction structuring alongside senior management. Previously, Conor worked at Ameriprise Financial in private wealth management and financial data analysis. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Binghamton University’s School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
